Over 40 years of passion dedicated to gymnasts

Since 1984, Moreau has been supporting gymnasts in their training and competitions.
A human and textile adventure born of a simple conviction: gymnastics deserves dedicated expertise.

At a time when the market for gymnastics leotards was still limited in France, the designs lacked technical sophistication, the fabrics were standard, and the cuts were rarely suited to the real demands of gymnasts. From the outset, the vision was clear: to create leotards designed exclusively for gymnastics, conceived as genuine performance tools. The brand then made a bold choice: a demanding choice, a defining choice and one that would shape its identity for the long term.

Expertise built to meet modern demands

Since then, gymnastics has evolved significantly. The elements are more technical, the routines more intense, and expectations regarding comfort and support higher. Today, the expertise acquired enables the brand to offer: ergonomic cuts adapted to extreme movements; technical fabrics that are lighter, more breathable and more durable; and construction techniques optimised for durability and precise support without compromising freedom of movement. Each model is the result of expertise honed through close collaboration with clubs and gymnasts.

Trust that spans generations

Several generations of gymnasts have worn Moreau leotards. Those who competed in the 1990s are now coaches or mums. And many naturally choose Moreau for their pupils or children. This loyalty speaks to one essential thing: trust.

Moreau’s history is not just about looking back. It is built season by season. Today, the priority is clear: to develop ever more high-performance materials, improve the durability of textiles, optimise lead times for clubs and modernise designs to meet the expectations of young gymnasts. Looking ahead, our ambition is to continue combining French textile expertise with technical innovation to support the evolution of gymnastics. Because performance is evolving, and leotards must evolve with it.
